In March of 2012 Sara was invited out to "The Farm in Elk River" to go shooting with Josh and Aaron's family to celebrate Christina's birthday. After some group shooting with some really fun firearms, Sara was "therapy" shooting away at some old "heartbreak" items down range when she heard a noise coming from behind her. Someone was laughing, was it at her? About to give them a piece of her mind, she turned around and saw Josh standing with two guys who she had never met before. Realizing that they were NOT laughing at her, she shrugged her shoulders and continued her tirade on her targets as she shyly and inwardly thought about how handsome "the short one" was. At sundown Sara packed in the firearms and headed to the house of the gracious hosts for dinner only to be surprised at the group sitting before her. Acquaintances were made, pleasantries were exchanged, and new tentative friendships were started with this curious new group. They couldn't know how much this meant to her after the previous 5 years that she endured. After dinner a bonfire was started, which naturally emitted smoke. That dang smoke chased Sara around the ring...she kept moving, and switching chairs, and trying to escape, only to have it stop once she sat next to Lon. The first thing that she remembers about this was the jokes that "The Short One" exchanged with her. After about an hour of silly joking with this guy, he announced that he was going to leave! How dare he! Sara was having so much fun and now he was leaving? She poked at him and said, "10pm??! What are you, old?!" Then, the manual BMW driving, firearm wielding, suit at the farm for a birthday bonfire wearing "short one" named Lon's attention was grabbed. He stayed for 2 more hours despite having to be up by 5a.m for work the next day. Thus a new, quirky, awkward, bond was formed.

Hi Lovely Family and Friends!!! We have worked with the church a block away from us to formulate a plan for parking on the "BIG DAY". We are asking you to try and park in the church parking lot so that we can safely transport you to our house. The very busy county road with NO shoulder is quite hazardous and, well, we would kind of like you all to be in one piece for our wedding and forever after. There is parking along Davenport as well, but people use this road as a cut across from the highway to the county road...and they drive like idiots through our neighborhood. SO, we really do encourage you to use the church parking lot as much as possible. There will be a BUS that you can ride. It will bring you from the church to our house (a.k.a. the wedding and reception venue), OR for those of you who have feet and don't want to ride the bus, there is a 4 wheeler path that leads along the county road from the church right down the length of our property line. Not gonna lie, Sara is nervous to have people walking because she loves you that much. Please note that if you are dropping someone off and then parking that is fine. We would like for you to pull in the driveway a little to do this because we are right on the corner of two busy roads.

This dude will be orchestrating our awesome day of ceremony and we couldn't be happier to call him our perfect Silver Squirrel! Married to one of the bride's besties, he has become a huge part of our lives and we all wouldn't be together here today with out his meeting Josh. It is because of Josh and Aaron that Lon and Sara met on that fateful day.

Aaron

This woman has been my thick and thin for so long now. Time has been crazy, but we are crazier! All hours of the day Perkins meetings, coloring until 3 A.M., bonfires, Memorial Day Camping,  Secret Lovin' Muffins...there really is no end and there never will be.

Deena

Since the 4th grade this lady has helped to keep my feet on solid ground. I couldn't be doing this day with out her by my side.

Jean Marie

This Chicka right here has been another ride or die since the 4th grade. Beading endeavors, fun sleepovers, birthday parties, prom, firearms, and so many other adventures. Life can be crazy, but we've never stopped being awesome.

Annie

Band (flutes/clarinets for life!), crazy fun acting careers, living in Plymouth, Jeff-fa-fa binge watching, Perkins confessions,... all of this to grown up stuff like eating out, monthly dates, gun fun, buying houses and growing on up... Our lives have been the perfect corruption for each other and I wouldn't have has it any other way.

This amazing young lady has been a solid in my life for about 3 years now. Our adventures are something for the record books! I also can't wait to stick her in a dress! ;)
